What do you like about working at Johnson Controls?
"I like the environmental sustainability and overall vision of the company that promotes green technologies."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I will not recommend JCI to anyone. It is by far the worst company I have worked for during my 25+ year-old professional career."
What don't you like about working at Johnson Controls?
"I dislike the weak, highly subjective HR processes that allow cronyism and internal politics to flourish and influence employee-related decisions. There is high pressure to conform to the hierarchical structure and old boys network. There's an unprofessional environment where you need to focus more on making sure you are in the good books of the senior management, rather than focus on performing well in your job. Structured career development or career paths are non-existent."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Change the company culture to promote recognition of high performance, fairness, and equitable treatment of all employees. Create an inclusive culture, and demolish the old boys network."
