"Listen very carefully to the employees. Often those with less decision making ability such as nursing assistants have the greatest voice and report with the patients."

"The local staff was dysfunctional. Poor leadership and poor academic rigor."

"They were a bit late to intervene in the staff dysfunction, and treated all as if they were equally to blame for the problems. Their final solution to reorganize the site was a bit heavy-handed."

"You can't get into John Muir unless you know someone already working there. They will post jobs for years and never call you for an interview. The HR needs help."

"I believe management has a HUGE impact on the company's morale. Good management encourages and motivates individuals to work and work well whereas bad management creates a negative work environment. Although cliche, I believe positivity and honestly are two of the most important qualities a good manager can possess. Positivity allows for a thriving work environment and honestly creates trust between all levels of the company."
