"I started working for Jeppesen in spring of 2015 and found the company in a transitory state between project management methodologies. While this was an exciting time to join it was also frustrating in that senior management wasn't wholly onboard with AGILE let alone the SaFE methodology they were pushing for. This created a lot of confusion, problems and roadblocks in project execution, but it didn't take away from the company's desire to be a better company and be a better company for its employees which it always pushed to achieve."

"You should be very prepared to answer highly technical questions"

"the location, it's too far. There is no growth opportunity"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"ensure that DBA does work pure DBA assignments and don't make them Tier3 network admin"

What do you like about working at Jeppesen?

"Great people, worthwhile project with good standards. Seriously, I've worked places where needing to sometimes double-click a button was a shippable feature - not worthing of assigning a progammer to for fixing. At Jeppesen this was a bug worthy of holding up shipment."

"Know the airspeed of an unladen swallow (the correct answer is not a speed) although not all departments there will even know the question."

What don't you like about working at Jeppesen?

"While my work environmen isolated me from company politics, they were strongly evident"

"Axe the politics where & when you can. Try not to send conflicting messages (save money + spend more)"

"If you have a family, its a great place to work due to its work-life balance. But if you are young, probably you will be stuck here."

What don't you like about working at Jeppesen?

"Boring. I just sit here in front of the computer doing with minimum interaction. The people I am working with are great but not really that fun.Career progression is also stagnant"

"I would be more inspirational and more energetic about work. Do more interesting projects"
