"Laid back atmosphere, professional attitude, and a very comfortable place to get work done."

"Constant rumors of upcoming lay-offs were almost worse than the actual lay-offs that eventually came."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't outsource your software, too many good ideas come from in-house developers."

"It was a very relaxing and laid back atmosphere. Very family friendly."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Iomega is a hardware and storage media company first and a software company second. They also seem to be more interested in marketing to big business (replacing tape storage, etc) and less interested in the home commercial market."

What don't you like about working at Iomega?

"They laid off the entire Nacogdoches office. For months we could see it coming but there was nothing anyone could do about it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be truthful to employees about the financial burdens of the company. Don't be afraid to tell employees to begin looking for new jobs if lay offs are likely."
