"Vary relaxed, got me setup right away."

"Have patients, so much time had passed when they called I had forgotten how they where"

What don't you like about working at Intel?

"Vary big place, make shore you have contact data when there first time (Contact name, number building, flour, cubical). There is no way to find someone if you are new there. I was sent there with a contact name and could not find, call or get hold of person I was supposed to meat. Guards at building are now use, now directory listings in lobbies"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have phone contact in lobby or computer system like apple"

"The hard work can pay handsomely in this meritocratic environment - the hardest workers are rewarded well."

"Be sure you're ready for high expectations about your output quality and ability to contribute broadly. Your sphere of influence is expected to grow every year, and you need to be an expert at influencing people and constantly exceeding the goals laid out for you. This is not an environment for everyone - overachievers only need apply."

What don't you like about working at Intel?

"Once you hit the threshold of being considered a major contributor, you'll forever be putting in 60+ hour weeks."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Correctly size teams and organizations - stop shipping jobs overseas just to lower the bottom line costs. It's not an effective way to make genuine progress. Managers are constantly chasing quality issues and lack of good progress with teams that are split across continents and cultures. It's definitely herding cats..."
