"I like the mission that the Red Cross carries and what they stand for, I was super excited when I learned that I would be working for the American Red Cross. I love the people and the atmosphere and my line of work."

"Be polite and knowledgeable in your field. I would make sure that you also dress appropriately for your interview."
What don't you like about working at American Red Cross?
"I don't like the fact that there is no room for advancement. I have worked here a total of 4 years and have not received a raise nor recognition for the work that I have put in."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think they need a system that recognizes the work that an employee has put in and the contributions made by such employee that has helped the department as a whole."

"The only way you have job security is if you are a nurse or a doctor."

"Didn't give support or the resouces to complete job task."

"Management changed and I cant really give any suggestions to this."

"Little opportunity for growth in their Human Resources Department. Ill defined duties which causes some confusion with task being completed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Specifically define tasks for members of HR department so that task are only completed by one person. Increase communication within the department. Determine storage/filing/organization system that can easily be used by two people for easy access to important HR materials."

"You need to be a people person with strong communication and customer service skills as well as a lot of patience."

"I often got very bored because there was not enough work for me to do, or the work was repetitive."

"I would have more employees in the office because the departments were often very overwhelmed with work."
