"Don't bother working for this place unless you need the money. If the management wants to get rid of you they will find a way to get rid of you."

"They seem to use people to get what they want from them. I now know why the person before me left this company shortly after I was hired . He was afraid that I was his replacement"

"If you keep treating your employees they way you do no one will stay with you very long. They will stay until they can find something better."

"There were 3 factory locations very close together with over 1MM square feet under roof. There were a variety of heavy industry business units like galvanizing, welding, punch press, forging, foundry, hardware assembly, plastics and warehouse. I had a chance to work in all Hubbell Power Systems business units."

"Once you are hired for a position, this is your position until your # is drawn for the next layoff."
What don't you like about working at Hubbell?
"Every time the stock price dropped, there would be layoffs in the office and factory positions."

"They need to work on incentives to keep good knowledgeable workers on staff, instead of trying to drive people away with the constant threat of layoffs."

"The management is poor. Lots of sexual harassment, lots of bribe taking. Very much a good old boys club. Managers know less about their jobs than regular workers do."

"You need to get rid of the production supervisor before he causes the company to be sued."
