"While working as Hostgator, I felt underpaid. We were paid flat hourly rates, with a minimum requirement with how many tickets we responded to each hour. But, going above and beyond, in order to provide great customer service, and/or greatly exceeding the minimum ticket quota, was always overlooked. Employees who would go the extra mile were not recognized for doing so, and most became complacent after a while, only doing the minimum needed to get paid, since doing more didn't earn them anything"
