"The company is trying to recover from a major downturn in the phone book industry. People are constantly being laid off and work load and anxiety is high. It's a big risk but if you start working here now who know's you might just get in on a company that's about to go under or be on the verge of completely turning things around."

"The pay is amazing, the hours are great too. However line of management is very weak, you get told to do something and then yelled at for doing it. My department is the worst department as we handle all the angry people, it wears on you. It is time for a change."

"I worked for Hibu for 2 months before being laid off. The company recently switched from print to web and they are unsure of how to best manage this transition. Not a stable working environment."

"Our manager decided to have meetings on Google Hangout on our iPads, this is basically face time as a group on your iPad. This was done to make sure we were paying attention to this daily meetings. While setting everything up on hangout, he told the two African American employees to "Open their eyes" and "Smile" "so that I can see you". When someone said that they could not believe he said that, he just laughed. Very racist manager. HR was notified and nothing was done and no apologies were made."

"Hibu is 2.3 billion dollars in debt and now owned by their creditors. Deloitte has been brought in to make cuts (layoffs, forced retirement, downsizing) to the company to keep them from closing their doors. They are restructuring they east coast now and from what I understand, you will make even less money on this new plan. All this company cares about is new business sales, but they don't ever tell you that in the very long (12 week) training that teaches you how to sell (isn't that why they"

"It is a good company to learn about the industry, but they do not practice what they preach. They don't follow the guidelines to be a ethical google, facebook and bing partner. They teach sales people to say things to the customer to make a purchase without any intentions of living up to their side of the bargain. Take a look at their reviews online and you will see many unhappy customers who feel like they were lied to. There is a breakdown between what is sold and their fulfillment department. They are abusive to their customers and their sales people. They are more concerned with getting new customers then keeping existing customers. It is impossible to sell what you do not believe in. I wish they would make it easier for their salespeople by living up to their end of the bargain. The fulfillment of the product or service. I have no advice to management because they are complicit when it comes to their products and services. Could they improve their product? Yes. Will they? No."
