"I have worked with Hibu, formerly Yellowbook, since 2007. They have been an amazing company to work for with unlimited earning potential. It is a challenging job but worth the effort. The company has always been ready to make changes needed to compete in today's marketing arena. They try new things and are not afraid to pull what doesn't work. The training is unmatched and the management support is spot on."

"Well paid and taken care of as an employee and a person. This job was more reliant on self responsibility than working with the main branch of the company, making most of the feedback from clients on myself, but assistance from the main branch came swiftly and the job was very rewarding."

What do you like about working at hibu?

"The company I work for (Znode, a Hibu company) is progressive, laid-back, and overall the best place to work in Columbus. Each member of each team is very talented, bringing unique skills to the table. Znode prides itself in being innovated, modern, trend-setting, and industry-leading. Znode is employee-focused, offering a wide variety of benefits. At the end of the day, I go home knowing I'm able to approach project owners and managers with new ideas for a better customer experience. Synergy is the name of the game."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Get ready to be at the mercy of shallow-sighted management."

What don't you like about working at hibu?

"The managers have a knack for being very shallow-sighted, often subject to tunnel vision and narrow thought processes. Goals are determined by overseers, and are many times unrealistic to say the least."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If I were running the show, I would concentrate on listening to my employee's suggestions for new products, instead of focusing on exactly what I want. I would have weekly leadership meetings, focused on growing employee communication skills through team-building exercises and collaboration."

"It could had been better, micromanagement was the big problem, and the top executives didn't know what digital was all about and they were heading that direction, print directories were on the decline and though digital was going to be managed as printing material, a lot of postcard campaigns instead of digital campaigns. Acquisition of companies were bad planned ZNODE specially."

"I've only worked at HIBU for a few months, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. My coworkers and manager were great, just the higher ups decided to outsource our jobs. I wish I could transplant all of my coworkers to my next job. One of the best work environments I've ever been in."
