"Everything! Team environment! Support! GREAT Benefits! Trust! Freedom! Growth!I have known of this company for the last 20 years. I have watched it grow. It is within the last 2 years that I made the decision to join the team. It is very apparent to me that the poor review/ratings were posted by FORMER Employees. Every objective employee knows that there is a reason you were let go. What you might state a negative, I see as a positive. YES, they do have a high turnover rate; due to the fact that the boss has an uncanny ability to spot the lazy, and is not afraid to terminate it for the betterment of the TEAM. Basically, if you are not afraid to work, you will do great in this enviroment!There is a reason that the company has thrived thus far!"

"Keep training. Keep the bar HIGH! The right people for the team are out there."

"I would recommend that anyone who is interested in interviewing for this company not take into consideration any of the negative comments left on this website by hostile employees who no longer work for HHCI. Please be prepared for a trustworthy company that takes pride in everything that they do."

"To be honest, I do not have any feedback to leave in this section. I love my job and the company that I work for. I am proud to say that I work for HHCI and look forward to going to work everyday."

"The Management Team at HHCI is a strong team of experienced personnel who continue to build the company and work towards the best interests of the company. I recommend that they continue to analyze the departments and evaluate the needs of the company as they have done."

"It seems I am a little late hitting this website. I've been here 4 years, and only heard about it recently when I started hanging out in the office. This is going to be a very positive review. As far as I am concerned, I am a very young guy, and Hal personally has given me many opportunities to move up."

"I would have to say, to always be up front about your situation. Being completely honest no matter what the case is because they do not hold it against you but respect you for the honest and are willing to work with you regarding your situation."

"Continue doing what you're doing, it's working and others appreciate it more than you think."

"I've been here a long time. I have seen people come and go. I still wake up looking forward to going to work on a daily basis. I love working for our country's military and feel very fulfilled with the work I do."

"Like any company you work for, it has its flaws. As a loyal employee with good ethics, it falls on the HHCI team to make this a better place and to address any deficiencies. I am sure all comments on this site have some form of truth but all in all if you work hard, it is not a bad place to work. HHCI is not for everyone, that is correct. You either have what it takes to work here or you don't. In my time here I feel I have been treated well and and I feel that if you have something bad to say about the way you were treated, it is due to lacking what was needed to grow within the company. I am not being told to write this review, just sharing my thoughts and feelings about working here."

"I have been here for about 6 months now. I had initial reservations about joining the HHCI team after reading this website. I actually set a 6 month reminder for myself to write this review, good or bad, when the time came. Thus far, my time at Hal Hays Construction has been very good. I am in a support capacity for the project managers. We tend to get very swamped and spread thin. I can see that some people are overly stressed out. All-in-all as a younger person looking to grow, I am excited."

"There is no perfect company; so work hard, be honest and make the most every day."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep an open dialog with the employees; it's extremely beneficial."

"Good company. The only reason that I'm not there anymore is because my wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness and I had to leave my project halfway through. So, I was with the Hal Hays team for about 9 months, and I always had a good experience. I am not sure if I was just lucky to be on a good project, with a strong team, but I was happy when I was there, and I'd like to think that had I not had my series of challenging events, I would still be there doing projects."
