4.5I worked for Hexagon for 7 years. They are a very large company based in Sweden with many subsidiaries like DEA, Romer. Brown and Sharpe, Standard Gage, and Tesa, to name a few. My main function was customer support. I was sent to Tesa in Switzerland for training on the optical measuring equipment.
4.6I worked at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence from January 2017-April 2019. There I was an Applications Engineer II where my job was to train and help customers create automated inspection routines using CMMs (coordinate measuring machines). I had an excellent relationship with my supervisor and the daily communication with customers about our software was what drove me to learn software engineering and development.
4.5I have worked at Hexagon Metrology for nearly three years now. Hexagon has many diverse products, all of which are highly technical and fun to work with. I have been given the opportunity to explore many different industries as a customer facing engineer and my experiences with the personnel at Hexagon are all positive!
