"I enjoyed working with and establishing new and exsisting client base. I was promoted to store trainer for new managers coming into the company as manager trainees. I could not take this position at the time due to my children were very young and I had to travel. I was a single mother at the time."

What don't you like about working at Harry & David?

"I didn't like that the company wasn't family friendly. I had to move forward."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"For upper management. Family comes first. If a manager is always stressed about their children, how will the manager ever give her/his best performance. Managers shouldn't have to choose, I know sometimes you have to make sacrifices as a manager, but there is a line you just don't cross."
