Hand & Stone Massage Spa Employee

"They are a Massage Envy rip-off. Nothing original nothing unique does not inspire want to do their best work. It is cookie cutter assembly line massage. Extreme favoritism, incompetent management and owner who does not give a s*** about her employees and describes them and I quote as dime a dozen. The front desk screws up so much it tries to blame it on the massage therapist or the estheticians. The manager was a former Pizza Hut manager and the front desk manager was an employer Publix who got fired for being a troublemaker. The lead therapist was trailer park trash with purple hair full body tattoos rigged of marijuana and just had the stench of trailer park written all over her. As far as the lead therapist I received the worst massage I've ever had from anyone and I got off that table bruised I have pictures to prove it if they want to dispute that. Plus everything you say and do is documented to use against to whether it is to try to get a raise or if they just want to get rid of you. Gutless management, micromanagement to the degree bullying but we can run it they back off real fast and the management looks like they've just peed all over themself absolutely gutless. They're a nice place to start if you want to stay at the bottom. The place will rob you of your passion if you stay there too long."

Hand & Stone Massage Spa Employee

"Backstabbing co-workers, Front end Manager loves to create drama, who is two faced and loves to stir distrust and dissension between employees. No pay raises, benefits, management who were hired off the street and having no experience in the health and beauty industry. A Massage Envy ripoff with owners who do not care for their employees and will change the rules when it makes it easier to make a dollar. A very negative atmosphere where you can't wait to leave. Management loves to create fear among workers and try to make look embarrassing. No respect given while continually micromanaging, finding fault where there isn't any instead of doing their jobs to improve business."
