What do you like about working at Wyndham Worldwide?

"They have good pay, good benefits, and stable hours for the most part."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to not have a voice of your own even though they say they encourage it."

What don't you like about working at Wyndham Worldwide?

"They micromanage everything, you are constantly being told what you are doing wrong, multiple coaching forms are expected, and you get fired for something you didn't even do, even though you have 20 people to back you up that say otherwise, yes TWENTY people."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop breathing down your employees' backs all the time and let them try and do a good job on their own. I understand the need for training, but after you've been there for a couple years, you would think you'd have a handle on things for day-to-day basis. HR needs to do a more complete investigation before firing someone. I was wrongfully terminated there after an employee faked a back injury, then wrote up a 5-6 page report on every employee who ever did them wrong. Nothing was proven, he couldn't remember what he put in the report, yet they took it anyway and acted on it before checking his story out."

"I enjoy my colleagues. I trust my boss. I was well trained. The work, while not demanding, can be intense, but is entirely service-oriented."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be alert. Be aggressive about learning and helping. Dishonesty and laziness are extremely difficult to hide and are quickly punished."

What don't you like about working at Sheraton Hotels and Resorts?

"Broad economic trends effect tips, the majority of the salary, quickly and directly."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I have no suggestions. They really know what they are doing."
