"I’ve worked for Greystar for 7 yrs and for the past 3 yrs my 2 managers have discriminated against me, refuse to handle the tech that refuses to work, they have robbed the company blind by stealing money and product. Unfortunately most management and HR are pretty useless."
"I’ve worked at Greystar for over half a decade. The “growth” they promote for getting people to come and stay is greatly outpaced by the talent they hire and try to retain. We have a new software for every little detail that requires 40 hours a week before you even start doing accounting. Sad to see a place with such a great culture and value for employees deteriorate over the years for the bottom line"
"Not a bad job, I switched industries so started at the bottom. The office dynamic isn't great. Manager is never here and the Assistant Managers people and customer service skills are lacking. I have an MBA and do not believe that either are great managers and do not see much area for growth, or willingness to help employees improve and learn. I do not believe this is the case everywhere, but definitely poorly run office on-site here. Schedule isn't great working most weekends. Employees also talk bad on each other when they are not around. Greystar is a great company I am sure, but my office is not."
"Company is the largest in the industry. Customer care is tip top. But they have little to no interaction with new hires and/or current employees. The Hiring process is confusing and needs to be fixed. Day one I had no access to anything and I was expected to start ASAP. No email, no guidance what so ever. Regionals and upper management need training!"
"As a community assistant for Greystar, I found the job to be challenging but rewarding. The salary was competitive, and the company offered a range of benefits, including healthcare and paid time off. My overall rating for my experience at Greystar would be 4 out of 5."
"Good company to work for and grow."
"Greystar is great for career development. The resources and job training that are available are invaluable. They give you opportunities to grow within the company. I was pretty satisfied with the overall compensation and benefits. They have high expectations which may have you working longer hours so be ready to go!"
"Working with Greystar Property Management has afforded me a unique opportunity to run a luxury mid-rise new construction community like it was my own asset."
"It really comes down to what team you're working with. You'll either have a great experience and thrive with a team or you might get unlucky, it depends who you're working with at the end of the day."
