"As a community assistant for Greystar, I found the job to be challenging but rewarding. The salary was competitive, and the company offered a range of benefits, including healthcare and paid time off. My overall rating for my experience at Greystar would be 4 out of 5."
"Out of many property management companies, Greystar does a great job at communicating with their on-site employees and clients. This company puts clients first and encourages their employees to grow."
"I’ve worked for Greystar for 7 yrs and for the past 3 yrs my 2 managers have discriminated against me, refuse to handle the tech that refuses to work, they have robbed the company blind by stealing money and product. Unfortunately most management and HR are pretty useless."
"I’ve worked at Greystar for over half a decade. The “growth” they promote for getting people to come and stay is greatly outpaced by the talent they hire and try to retain. We have a new software for every little detail that requires 40 hours a week before you even start doing accounting. Sad to see a place with such a great culture and value for employees deteriorate over the years for the bottom line"
"Good company to work for and grow."
"Greystar has been a great place to work. It really helped me get on my feet and was a huge help! I would recommend Greystar to anyone looking to start a career!"
"It really comes down to what team you're working with. You'll either have a great experience and thrive with a team or you might get unlucky, it depends who you're working with at the end of the day."
"I worked at Graystar for about 2 1/2 years fast pace very big company."
"great company- would definitely recommend"
"It was a pleasure to speak to corporate executives as they all have an amicable personality."
"Not a bad job, I switched industries so started at the bottom. The office dynamic isn't great. Manager is never here and the Assistant Managers people and customer service skills are lacking. I have an MBA and do not believe that either are great managers and do not see much area for growth, or willingness to help employees improve and learn. I do not believe this is the case everywhere, but definitely poorly run office on-site here. Schedule isn't great working most weekends. Employees also talk bad on each other when they are not around. Greystar is a great company I am sure, but my office is not."
"I worked at Greystar as a leasing agent and found the company to be struggling through recent changes in the housing market. I liked the people I worked with but I think the upper management would be wise to listen to the employees that are working on the day to day operations."
"I worked for Greystar for 4 years; it is an exceptional company and I have had the remarkable pleasure of being believed in and mentored by some of the best in the industry. If Multi-family Property Management is a field you are interested in or hoping to get into, you can't do better than Greystar."
"Since working for greystar I’ve learned a lot like any company I’ve ever worked for before. Greystar makes you feel like family, coworkers, and managers are amazing for the most part. Compensation is an average if comparing to competitors. Overall greystar is an amazing company to work for."
"I have worked for Greystar for almost a year now and I have been nothing but elated about the experience I acquired. My team and supervisors provided a space where I could be passionate about what I did."
