"I expect a manager to be more flexible and responsible. I expect my manager to guide me in the direction of success in a positive manner."

"Be honest about what you want, if they offer you a lower wage than you expect stick to your guns and ask for an equitable amount."

"It is highly confidential and micromanaged. Anyone with a background is not really supported fairly."

"Be open to change, implement strength based policies instead of medical or legal based."

"Many people who work there are great and the front line personnel are fantastic and hard working."

"Be careful, read between the lines. Be as clear as possible about the expectations they have and get everything in writing."

"C-level leadership totally out of touch with current business/technology realities. C-level execs maintain and protect silos of power and information, therefore, the company has low information/knowledge sharing capacity/culture."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Let people do their jobs, trust them to make sound decisions and know that they understand the value of the company and truly care."

"I had no experience in the work I did here. The manager was very abusive."

"I love helping people, and I love to work in a fast paced environment."

"I quit Goodwill because the management was awful."

"It wasn't the company, all employees didn't like our management."

"They need new management, all the employees here would agree."

I worked for the Goodwill of Middle TN. They definitely had a heart for their community. Matt Glostner is a higher up in the company and has the biggest heart out of anyone I have ever worked with."

The people are great to work with, and the atmosphere in the office is relaxed, yet professional. The only downside to the company is pay rate for the amount of work you do. The budget does not allow for much in compensation."
