"Employees expected to work at least 50 hours a week and through their lunch. You're frowned upon if you leave on time or take a lunch away from your desk. Little room for advancement. Learn to like being a replaceable cog. No raises for all 6 years I was there."

"Just because YOU choose not to have a life outside work, don't expect ME to follow suit. Trying PAYING people fairly for the amount of work they do."

"Don't be naive. This company is not the place to work for in this economy. Be aware of who your manager and their management team is... Are you a politician or a seller?"

"Senior management had no concept of reality of the market, job, etc. You were noticed if you followed and not if you were inventive and a leader."

"Get in touch with reality and see who your true employees and the market they serve are! Quit being so political and catering to those who follow like a sick puppy."

"I liked everything, but because of the economy, they had to lay off many employees."

"Unless you have no job and no experience. There are much better places to work, really happy where I work now."

"Poor management, they micro manage everything right down to what you are doing in five minute increments. Poor hours, rotating shift working 12 hours every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday."

"Stop asking the what can you do for me, and do your own planning."

"Limited growth opportunities, limited pay, working downtown Atlanta."

"Reduce overall body count and increase compensation for the remaining employees. There are lots of folks not pulling their weight."

"Once you are employed with the company, network as much as you can."

"Because the company has gotten so large, sometimes you feel like a number."

"To boost morale, contractors need to know how long they will need to contract before they will be promoted to a Full Time Employee."

"I work a lot of hours, weekends and holidays. No real work-life balance."

"I like the team that I lead and work with in Maintenance. There have been several improvements noticed since I have been there."

"If you are single and have no family or social life, this job is for you."

What don't you like about working at Georgia-Pacific?

"Since there is so much to do, and like a lot of companies, GP has not hired for several positions that are needed. That load falls on those who are still employed at GP, and although I am salary, I work many 12-16 hour days, all through weekends without days off."

"Consider filling key positions, instead of having 1 position fill in for 4 positions."
