"I did not work in the new facility but in the older one. the new one is modern, sporting up-to-date equipment and procedures aligned with current health care needs. I would love to return to the facility, especially now that the new administration has made such marvelous improvements to this rural community."
What do you like about working at Banner Churchill Community Hospital?
"It presented a huge variety of cases to treat. The rural communities of Nevada are filled with ranching incidents, school accidents, rodeo incidents, field cowboy dilemmas, boating incidents, the Naval Air station activities, airfield incidents, mining accidents, and season related incidents. Those are associated with skiing, snowmobilig, ice fishing, skating, wind-surfing, swimming, fishing, mountain climbing, hunting, spelunking, and glider incidents. The hospital can become hectic or can smooth out to a dull hum of activity. enjoyed the huge opportunity to provide diagnostics from all 8 divisions of the lab, as the sole diagnostician. I also had sction from the three local constabulary forces for legal endictments. I had a certain amount of court time obligation for the NHP, Churchill County Sheriff, and the Fallon Police Dept. for evidence in convictions of chemical and alcohol related injuries or assaults. These included DUIs, DOAs, and open murder charges."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"No. It is very solid and consistent with attempts to acquire and maintain good rural health care."
What don't you like about working at Banner Churchill Community Hospital?
"The fact that I WAS alone so much with no back-up. However, that was in the period of time from 1990-1994. I am certain the staffing has changed."

"That they hire me to manage their laboratory."
