"I work for Gap Inc. I started as a Financial Integrate Inventory Associate. After six months I was transferred to be an auditor in Intermix. Three months later, I applied for Human Resources Coordinator. The company give you opportunities to advance, but I am ready to take my career to another level and develop more knowledge and skills."

"I've worked for Gap Inc. in the Gap Tech IT department for almost 2 years now, and since that time spent everyone in the department is jumping ship. There is no leader ship and no management. The help desk manager, along with the senior director of IT as well with some key personal on the team al resigned in the span of 90 days. Which in result left our department with no direction. Even til this day they have yet to fill those key roles. The IT department seems to be working blind with no sense of direction to why and what direction we are moving in. On top of all the it was announced to the company that our CEO will be stepping down before the year is over."

"Great culture and good folks. Technology can be primitive because Gap retail is not in the software business; it is in the clothing business. Technical debt is regularly accumulated and seldom addressed. It is a large organization with a hierarchical order, so cross-function productivity can be slowed significantly. Technology vision is lacking."

"I worked in Gap's Warehouse for 2 years. They have great employee discounts and the benefits are good. However, management staff and supervisors are two of the same type so they have to cover each other's backs. Racism is very strong in this warehouse; management and supervisors are playing a big roll in this. You will get heavier workloads because of your body structure and forget about rotation. Supervisors will harass you about productivity for your entire shift 10-hour shift. I went through some very unfortunate and terrible experiences working for Gap, and I'm brave enough to say ME TOO. I filed many complaints to HR and they did nothing to help me, but instead enabled it. Corruption is strong in this management team and with the supervisors as well. If you are black, you will be at the bottom of the barrel. I was sexually harassed, bullied, discriminated against, harassed, retaliated against...etc These people have no compassion and are very much heartless. The person who selected these groups of people, to operate and run this company needs to be evaluated. Employees look to management for guidance, but management is not doing a fair job at all. They are abusing their employees, especially blacks and some women. The Gap needs real changes in its company policies and to start communicating more with of its employees. Consequences for supervisors bad behaviors is a must."

"My experience was full of micromanagement from incompetent managers who lacked the ability to communicate with employees with respect. Every single day you will be hounded about convincing customers to submit their personal info (such as their SSN) to get credit cards. Yes, shocking for a retail store. During corporate visits, any employees who are not in management will not be acknowledged, you must run around to ensure customers do not approach management, although they can assist customers as well. There is little to no room for advancement, and employees are underpaid."

"I've worked for The Gap for a short period of time, but it is very upbeat and a very easy place to work. It's perfect for a college student paying their way through school or a retiree. It's a fun company with a fun set of coworkers and employees."
