The company’s current CEO Glenn Murphy along with 134,000 employees work together to design, market, and distribute Gap apparel worldwide. The Gap Inc. runs 3,100 retails stores in over 80 countries, primarily in North America. President Millard "Mickey" Drexler stepped up in 1983 to transform the Gap from a youthful store into a sophisticated apparel brand with global appeal.
