"The Ford Foundation has a great mission. I'm surrounded by amazing people doing good things. But, the institution is very bureaucratic, making it difficult to do even the simplest of tasks due to outdated internal policies and poor technology. There is also an elitist culture that is institutionalized, making it both difficult to feel connected to the work as well as contributing to a feeling of not being valued."
