"Management had difficulty working with people.There was very little respect given to the common technician."

"Learned quite a bit of the basics of avionics, aircraft systems, flight planning, and aircrew procedures while working there."

"Good if you're just beginning an avionics career. Bad if you want to grow or advance. A job here after ten years is terminal to your career."
What don't you like about working at FlightSafety International?
"Management underwent a significant change at the end of year six for me. Things became very hectic, less fun, and unprofessional. They adopted process engineering, and then bypassed the performance metrics while making the engineers spend hours a week sending tracking reports to micro-management."

"Start over."

"Smart people in the respective fields. Flight simulators, what else can a person say"

"Ask many questions about what concerns you the most in a career, whether it is growth, flexibility, and/or future opportunities."

"Poor communication between and within departments, which affect deadlines and ultimately project profitability."

"Overhaul."

"My other teammates and the clients we have come to train with us. The benefits are great and I have a retirement now."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Keep your options open for something better. I think the company is a great company but, unfortunately, not every center has a great manangement team and that is where the trouble begins. They make a big deal about new employees but never recognize the loyal employees who have been here, taking care of the people and the business and never get recongnize for that hard work and loyalty."
What don't you like about working at FlightSafety International?
"Feel unappreciated and no one sees my worth and potential. The lack of training I get to do my position effectively. Managers who communicate with you and help you to become a better employee. No communication. Held accountable for my job duties without the proper training."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Minimize their meetings and get out into the center to see exactly what your empolyees are doing and have and understanding about those job duties. Be in contact with clients more as well."
