"Don't have negative things to say about previous employers."

"When the market is down, jobs have to go...as an assitant it was a little scary to wonder if I was the next one cut."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My managers were fabulous, but I think that sometimes their managers were a little unrealistic as to what outcomes could be for certain situations."

"There was always something new to learn and there was plenty of room for advancement back when the market was good."

"They were very business oriented and it was difficult to get time off for family emergencies."

"To be more flexible with employees"

"The family approach to their employees. It is a family-owned business and has been so for over 100 years. They treat their employees as an extension of their own family."

What don't you like about working at First American Title?

"I can't think of a thing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Maybe there's a little too much of it, sort of a too many chiefs and not enough Indians kind of thing. It seems when they are reducing staff, they keep all the higher salaried management types, and the lower-ranking personnel, the ones who do the actual work, are the ones who get cut from the team. There should be a better balance there."
