"The company was very open to a woman working in a male dominated environment. My opinions and ideas were used and implemented on a local level."

"You wil need to be able to be work in a faced paced environment and learn quickly all there is to know about hte changing automotive field."

What don't you like about working at Firestone?

"Some of the managers were from the old school of a woman should not be working, especially in a male doninated field, however it was only a few and once they met me and worked with me they were less offended of my position."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Since I was the first woman assistant manager I broke many false opinions of woman in a male dominated field, the overall management just needed to do more trainings on the sensitivity of acceptance of all employees."
