Fireside Hearth & Home Employee

"I’ve worked at trinity fired side since 2018-2022. This company ran two of my own personal vehicles into the ground driving for this company. I finally had gotten a work vehicle at the end of my third year. They had also been scamming me out of money on my paychecks. It took me awhile to notice since my checks didn’t seem that bad. But then I was working a lot more and not seeing much of a change on my checks. So I requested paycheck stubs. It took months before I was able to start getting them after asking multiple times. In the mean time I was making copies of my daily schedule and writing the price of each job I completed next to the jobs that I had gotten done. While in the process of figuring that out a new company had bought them out and they were also doing it I’m sure just due to what was originally being done. I told someone about it and they were able to resolve the problem. Probably was going on the entire time.We had many different supervisors throughout my 3years of working here. If you become a fire tech here you’ll be gone from 6am to nearly 7pm. A lot of the time during burn season I wouldn’t get home until 9pm. Working Monday-Saturday. They have very poor customer service so expect to also play the role as customer service when dealing with builders and homeowners. A lot of the time customer service wouldn’t even put what you would need to bring for the jobs, wrong phone numbers of builders, even wrong citys and address. You would call your supervisors and most of the time they won’t answer when you need help or have a question not to mention 2 out of the 4 supervisors I’ve had knew nothing about fireplaces nor NFI certified. There was a lot of talk about the fire techs getting NFI certified courses which never ended up happening of course. They have garage door manager making big decisions over fire techs/ Being in important meetings with fire techs.which makes zeros sense? This company does not value their employees nor customers what so ever."
