"I loved the knowledge my boss shared with me. This allowed me to become proficient in the insurance world. I was able to complete illustrations and Personal need analysis for clients."

"No employee recognition program, no advancement opportunities and no health insurance or 401K provided"

"The opportunity to work for one of the largest financial institutions in the world and share in the company's success."

"I think the corporate cultures of Bank of America, and Merrill Lynch could blend well but it will take some time to leverage the strengths of each enterprise. Take time to research Bank of America and understand its fit with your needs for work and family balance."

"Perhaps acquiring too many troubled firms as a means of growing segments of their business."

"Use competitive advantage and focus on corporate crown jewels (like Merrill Lynch) and Banking, and less on those areas that are directly responsible for the financial crisis."

What do you like about working at Chase?
"Individuals working in the branches are phenomenal, the direct management and their managers are the incompetent ones. Chase was frantic to hire and promote individuals into Senior Mgmt roles for their acquisition of WAMU, in trying to fill all of the new roles certain individuals in Management on the street are not qualified for their roles. Since this is the case and they are not effective managers they have resorted to 'thuggery' as a management style."

"Really be desperate and need a job when thinking about Chase."

"The name did help with solidifying strength."

"DO NOT interview with this company unless you have no other options. If you do interview, you will be hired."
What don't you like about working at Edward Jones?
"Medical benefit is awful. Unresponsive to assistance. Nothing more than a PonzI scheme. FA must become a LTD partner. Must have so many FA's to become LTD partner. Must have so many LTD partners to become Gen Partner and finally make decent money."

"Actually follow up on things that are promised. Be more upfront about the compensation during interviews."

"This is a job job for someone who has no personal life, wants to work 12+ hours per day, and expects not to take a vacation for about three years."
