"I have been working for this company for 6 mos. now and has been a great part time job while I attend school. This is a great second job for someone looking for extra income and also if you perform well you can advance within the company ranks. Overall this is a good company to work for and the job of package handler in which most start off is a very physical and demanding position and not for the weak. This position also teaches you to pay attention to detail and how to work with others."

"I've worked for Fed Ex Ground for two years now. The experience has been very good. It practices very professional work habits, ethical behaviors; I just wished the hours/compensation could as be good as the experiences there. I recommend anyone to check out Fed Ex if they are looking for a part time job."

"FedEx is an extremely labor intense job. The tools used to help you to complete your job are outdated and don't perform properly half the time. You are at a high risk of injury or death if your job is done improperly. There is a bonus of excellent benefits and tuition reimbursement, but as a whole it is not worth the effort you put in it. I have worked there for four years, and I can attest to there ebb and flow of volume and execution of the work load. It's not all it's cracked up to be."

"It's a good job, if you can physically handle it. It is intensely physically demanding, and the hours aren't great, but the pay is good, and it rises quickly if you stick with it. If you can last there for a couple years, and you do a respectable job, I'm told supervisor-ship is a very realistic proposition for anyone motivated properly."

"It's a very bad place to work, at least in Nashville TN. You are not paid for the wait to get their security check, and the guards are not very nice but hey, I get it's FedEx. You must take off all of your coats, hats, gloves, belt, shoes, stand on a dirty cold floor while they look through all of your stuff and pat you down and then tell you to go outside to put it all back on. Someone needs to look into this. Supervisor lacks people skills plus most don't care about the package handlers, just the package."
