"There isn't a work and personal life balance, long hours, not given opportunity to work hands-on in my areas and not working in specialty store."

"To be more aware of the need for a work and personal life balance and be more welcoming to new employees."

"Great money... did I say great money?"

"Retail hours... managing the store hourly staff... not fun. I was miserable and gained about 15 pounds from eating at Food Ave and drinking on every night off... honestly."

"I felt set up... poorly performing store with a rotating door of managers."

"Panel interview, be confident, make sure retail is what you want. Otherwise, you're wasting your time."

"Everything."

"Rework the schedule and expectations. Stop overworking your employees and treat them like human beings. There is no real job security. Everything you market is a false lie."

"Recruiting process is a positive experience. College grads hold an advantage. Be prepared to experience fast paced big box retail if no previous work experience in retail. This is not an office job."

"Commute considerations were minimal with majority of management crossing paths on their way to further locations."

"Focus on reducing turnover at every level including senior management. This will generate higher productivity and process efficiency. 50 percent of each management class leaves company within 18 months."

"Pay was REALLY good, especially for right out of college."

"Work/life balance is talked up at recruiting events, but in reality was non-existent. You are compensated for 8 hours/day, but are expecting to work at LEAST 10 hours."
