"It was a great company to work for."
What do you like about working at Sanofi?
"I enjoy the disease state that I work with and address everyday. I also enjoy building relationships with physicians and becoming a resource to them and their patients, rather than just another rep. I enjoy the fact that what I do everyday makes an impact on a person's life. I am indeed improving the quality of people's lives. I also enjoy the fact that at sanofi-aventis they have given me the tools and the freedom to get the job done in a manner in which I see fit. Run your territory like your own business ...as goes your business as goes your success."
What don't you like about working at Sanofi?
"I struggle with the fact that the opportunity to move or advance within the company is very limited. Speciality positions are created, only to be dissolved in an untimely manner. I have carried the bag, and I enjoy carrying the bag but I would like an opportunity to advance my career."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Remember whom your customers are...the physicians, and then ultimately the patient. Continuity of contact goes a long way in building a trusting relationship. Once that trusting relationship is built, your reps have become a resource to your customer. Don't be so far removed from the ultimate goal, stick to the basics. Tried and true and they usually work."
