"Corporate culture is the focus, not patient care or adherence to federal regulations."
"Nothing else to say about excelleRx. I would not work there again."
"Excellerx is a good company and I like knowing the work we do helps people during the last days of their lives. They are always looking to implement new technologies, but do not reward those that put in the time to learn and develop it. They want the best IT solution but all their attention on pharmacy side of the business."
What do you like about working at excelleRx?
"Free food once in a while. One day two of the managers (male and female) did a nude show (no kidding!) dancing on top of the break room tables. I liked this because it served to reinforce my opinion of how unprofessional a place this was."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"DON'T WORK HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE GIVEN NO CREDIT FOR YOUR WORK WHATSOEVER!!! (Unless you know the right - or in this case the wrong - people.)"
What don't you like about working at excelleRx?
"Something not so good Well, where should I start With the inefficiencies of management, lack of communication, office politics, undeserved promotions, or unprofessional conduct all around (management included) This is a picture of this dungheap in a single sentence. The production manager is perhaps the rudest and most ill-mannered, inconsiderate jerk I have ever met. From his sexual harassment actions (yes he was the one who received the promotion after his conduct when anybody else would have gotten canned) to his racially insensitive comments, he is a slimeball. The VP of Operations is a good-for-nothing corporate functionary with no brain, heart or spine. And two of the managers doing a nudey show in front of people, some of whom they KNEW would be offended by it That's not only unprofessional; that is harassment. The facility should be shut down. This is only the tip of the iceberg, but if anybody wanted to work for this company after reading this, I would seriously wonder why."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get all managers together and reinforce the importance of communication as well as professionalism. Both start at the top and a tight ship cannot be run without these. Employees got blamed for unprofessional conduct, but management was most unprofessional of all. Only at a place like excelleRx could a manager be guilty of sexual harassment and receive a promotion instead of a pink slip."
"Great work experience from a junior programmer stand point."
What do you like about working at excelleRx?
"Ability to submit your own thoughts and ideas. Friendly people, for the most part."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"As a developer, if you choose to go here, it is a good place to temporarily stay to gain valuable experience. You can be the employee who walks on water, but there really is no chance to advance. The ones who are in the high positions are there to stay."
What don't you like about working at excelleRx?
"There is a lot of corporate micro management that is over excelleRx. Too much organizational change. The current development manager is not easy to get a long with."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do not give your employees mixed signals. The environment can appear to be very laxed, however, they will quickly tighten down and scold employees out of nowhere."
What do you like about working at excelleRx?
"the environment is a good place to bond with and helping the nurses that I work with"
