"In my special case I was able to get quite a lot of experience doing the job assigned to my supervisor. I enjoyed seeing the inner-workings of the college campus."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Take it by the horns and run with it! I know it's temporary but it's a wonderful opportunity that you need take full advantage of. It's a learning experience, so learn! Don't act like you know everything because that's a sure sign that you don't. Don't mess this one up."

What don't you like about working at Everest College?

"It's temporary. I wanted to be hired by the school to do the job I was already excelling at; however, I was hired as a Work Study to be dismissed when my schooling was over."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think that everyone there needed to relax a bit. They all seemed so uptight. I know there is a lot of stress but they took it overboard. You do a much better job when you are comfortable where you are. The management all around the school was too uptight and worried about things that were so minute and unimportant in the grand scheme of things."

"Some of senior management, and lack of work/life balance."

"Management in Texas was great, California was not compassionate or human at all."

"Need to do research on their mission and values and open to change and committing weekends to training out of state."

"Young school, high turnover, inexperienced staff, needs more experienced, mature support staff."

"Train as much as possible in all departments and have as much ongoing training and monitoring on campus, especially in communication between management, and management and staff."

"I can think of nothing, I was over-stressed, underpaid and felt like my head was on the chopping block all of the time."

"The campus leadership is terrible, they may know how to make money but don't think about longevity of their employees, which leads to poor student retention."

"First and foremost put the students' future first. Don't think about how you can make money but how it will affect the student."
