"Benefits to interns could have been a little better. Health benefits could have been covered."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I do not have any suggestions in specific for the management."
What do you like about working at Sealed Air?
"I was a part of multiple projects which were moving forward throughout my time as in intern. There was always something to work on that contributed to a meaningful goal."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Make sure that a full time position is available. The internships are great, but in this economy they don't lead anywhere."
What don't you like about working at Sealed Air?
"The projects I was working on were underfunded, so I didn't have access to all the tools I would have liked and wasn't allowed to put in the hours that I think the projects deserved. I occasionally would work off the clock to meet my self imposed deadlines and despite all the extra effort I put forth, I feel my work was somewhat unappreciated in the end."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would have hired me despite the hiring freeze. Also, while I admired my managers collaborative approach to machine design, I would have taken it a step further and pulled a few field engineers in during the early stages of a new product design"

"The pace we worked was a bit relaxing and I was hoping to take on more."

"More schools should participate and the timeline shout be extended form 8 weeks to at least 10."

"I dont like the place where the company is located. I am supposed to drive for 1 hour and 30 minutes every morning."

"The company was established over 100 years ago and holds a large market share. The culture among salaried employees is friendly and mostly productive. Innovation and new ideas are encouraged and are entertained."

"The company is established and there is red tape when trying to implement change."

"It is really hard to make suggestions to management, especially when unions have to be taken into consideration."

"I like the good attitude and friendly nature of all the coworkers. I enjoyed all of the projects I was a part of and all of the work I did. I loved seeing my own projects come to production."

"I dislike the location, and the pay for an entry level engineer is lower than most other places"

"They look for people who are hard-working but who are also down to earth."

"The lab where I worked was totally inefficient and there were people above me who were difficult to work with, which provided a frustrating challenge."

"I would try to make the plant more efficient. I think that there are a lot of lazy people slowing down operations."

"The people who worked for te company were all very wellcoming and commited to an open door policy. This was a cononvinient way of pasing by a co-woker's door who is a technical reference and quickly finding out if they could talk about issues they were having."

"People are very frinedly at this company and will value honest and integraty above everything else. The company has an excellent company and business model and is in a solid position now and for the future."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I thought that management was good and that thing ran smoothly within the company. The only thing I would sugest would be to have more performance reviews for young professionals. Either this is another informal way of analyzing the employee's work and making critical sugestions."
