However, when I was at Raytheon I was doing the same work all the time, and all my requests to join another group were rejected, although I had more qualifications than other engineers who were transferred there. However, they were friends with managers, and buddy system gives them all the privileges they want at Raytheon."

I was in the middle of a life-adjusting move at the time, which affected me negatively. If in a similar situation, I would not recommend telecommuting."
