"There was always work to be done. The place was full of energetic people who worked together from manufacturing up to senior management for a medium size company - 400+ employees."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Yes. Potential employees need to work very hard at this company. It is extremely demanding. He/she must be able to take on multI tasking projects and must be able to work under high pressure. Lastly, he/she must be able to work with big equipment in manufacturing such as tanks, colloid mills, big pumps, packaging machines, fill machines, etc."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To control a high turnover in bosses. This will make it easier for employees to continue and complete their projects without distractions from different working styles."
What do you like about working at BancTec?
"Pretty much everything: I started as a Field Computer Engineer, so I've spent very little time at the office. The amount of work was very intensive, therefore provided room for continuous learning. I was promoted to an Office Service Manager in a very short time, and I was blessed to manage up to 12 Field Service Engineers."
What do you like about working at United Space Alliance?
"All the people I worked with were team players. Also, Management was usually responsive to employee suggestions or concerns. Most engineers were also allowed flex time."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The space shuttle program is still winding down. Please do not expect many job openings to arise at United Space Alliance (USA) at this time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management was a pleasure to work with at United Space Alliance. Micromanagement practically nonexistent when not necessary. They just need to keep doing what they have been doing."
What do you like about working at GE Technology Infrastructure?
"People were excellent and supporting, work is complex and edge cutting in avionics software and systems."
What do you like about working at Raytheon?
"It was the first job out of school so it helped me get started using strict standards (which was needed for lives were hanging in the balance)"

"Go there only if you want to retire for the skill sets you learn from there will kill your career."
What don't you like about working at Raytheon?
"The culture there was to get around working and not really learning new things. It was also an environment in which it was frowned on if you excelled."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Their hands were tied for a lot of their issues is dealing with the government."
What do you like about working at Alpha Mechanical?
"The shop was close to home. Great people to work with. The opportunity to teach others of the trade."
