"The company was a great place to work at the time I was employed. I enjoyed collaborating with my co-workers. My managers allowed me to grow and expand my skill set and knowledge base."
"I have been employed by Ellucian for 3 and half years now. When first hired in May of 2010, the company name was SunGard Higher Education. In March 2012, Sungard and Datatel merged to form Ellucian. We currently provide services to over 2400 higher education institutions in 40 countries around the world. I enjoy what I do, which is satisfying users. I am a very dedicated, caring and accountable person."
"I've worked with Ellucian on the Managed Services for five years and the work environment keeps getting worse. I'm on my second manager that simply does not care about my well-being: I have medical issues that make traveling difficult, yet my manager doesn't think twice about booking me for 75% travel. Raises are minuscule and usually swallowed completely by tax hikes. The only upsides to the position is that the majority of my coworkers are great, and that when I'm not traveling I work from home."
"Most dysfunctional company I have worked in almost 20 years. There are serious financial difficulties and their software product is very old and requires constant programming."
"Worked in Managed Services. Had three CIOs in 6 months. Only the interim CIO was supportive and competent."
"Worked here 9 years, there has been a lot of change, but the new leadership team is strong."
"This was such a great job. My leaders saw potential in me and pushed me to grow and develop my skills and talents to meet what they needed - and I loved it. To learn and grow and fly to remote places to meet people dedicated to higher education and interview them on video - become friends, and get paid for it. Pretty great. Oh yeah, they let me work remotely from home. The people that work for Ellucian are just as dedicated to being excellent and having fun once the goals are met."
"It was a very good company to intern for and I learned a lot about software development."
"Ready to move for the move the move good to move"
"Good place to work. Management has made some very strange choices with hiring and restructuring. If you work their, I advise that you always keep looking out for other opportunities. People get laid off seemingly at random with no real warning."
"This company has many remote positions. They work with higher education institutions."
"I worked at Ellucian since September of 2019. The company has a wonderful culture that puts their employees first. There is great training on internal processes which allows their employees to grow. There are many online modules provided to employees to develop whatever professional skill sets you may desire."
