"Be Honest. Be a hard worker. Be dedicated. Speak plainly and have a high work ethic."
What don't you like about working at State of Tennessee?
"There is not one thing I DON'T Like about working for and with Tom."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None. Seriously. Tom Knows how to run a business. He knows Safety. If you research him he is the best in Personal and Executive Protection in the country."

"Supportive, secure, good benefits. great students. There are a lot of really great co-workers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Plan to get in and work with one department for a few years, but don't depend on promotion within that department. Promotion almost always comes by moving to a different department to get a to a higher level."
What don't you like about working at Duke University?
"Structure is somewhat stifling. In hiring and promotion, level of education is weighted more highly than skills or knowledge."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Support more creativity, mainly by taking more risks. There is a lot of talent at Duke, but the bureaucracy is a little stifling."
What do you like about working at Intermountain Health Care?
"Looks good on my resume. It provides me networking opportunities."

"Embrace the culture. Attempts to change it will result in your defeat. Accept that Intermountain needs a committee to decide when to clean the carpets, and be OK with it."

"Very slow to change. Everything must be done via committee. Very top-down management approach."

"Modernize outdated processes, measure performance and outcomes, trust my employees more."

"Listen to your staff and include them as much as possible in the decision making."

"Company was sales motivated and not interested in the students and the education we were responsible for giving."

"The students are what kept me there as long as I was, there was always at least one holding me there and not moving on."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't unless you are a sales person, they are not really interested in anything else, including the students that have already paid."
What don't you like about working at TechSkills?
"The sale people interfered with the students learning and progressing, it was a constant battle fighting for what was best for the students."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When a new student has completed his or her enrollment keep sales out of the students programs and let them proceed successfully. Stop lying to the students, you are only hurting them."
