"I currently work for Ecolab. I perform food safety audits for large retailers. I also maintain equipment that dispense our chemicals. I am on the road everyday meeting with our customers. I work with very little to no supervision."
"I currently work for Ecolab as a Business Development Manager. Management within my department is strong. Our division does seem to have some communication issues with other divisions within the company. Upper management is not engaged with street level operations at all. Operations department fights acquiring new business and has terrible customer service."
"24/7 for $13/hr..........................."
"Stay away! No training! No support! Lack of empathy! Work/life balance doesn't exist! Managers are horrible! Culture is stuck back where no one talks to anyone, double standard expectations! Cut throat and high school drama! People use other people to get ahead. Quick to tell you did something wrong but nothing when something is done right! Forget about a learning curve! You accept the job, know it all on your first or expect it to be documented! Grudges and everyone talks about everyone!"
"Ecolab is a large company that is growing fast, but is not willing to add resources to complete required work and stay in compliance."
"This job is for self-motivated people. Pay is based on commission. My route was a rural route with very little growth. The customers are awesome and friendly, just small. It required a lot of travel (~2,500 - 3,000 miles/month). What type of manager you have is a roulette wheel. Some are awesome and some are horrible."
"I really don't like or enjoy working here. It's the kind of place you come to gain experience and move on to better things."
"This is a highly stressful position and it's not worth it for what they pay you as you can make more elsewhere doing the same thing at other comparable sized competitors."
"I've worked for Ecolab for 3 years now and while the company itself is quite good the culture discourages open conversation, particularly with executive leadership. This leads, in my very subjective opinion, to a non-collaborative environment difficult for developers to thrive."
