"Great company to work for. The entire team in the main office in Eden Prairie, MN - has been to work with and for. Management has always been very open, honest, and informative about upcoming events and current events that may or may not impact my employment. Eagle Creek has always encouraged its employees to improve our skill sets. My last project ended at the beginning of June - and Eagle Creek has allowed me to be on the bench. I really appreciate it - because they don't have to."
"Although a good experience, loyalty to employees seems to not be a priority."
"In the year and a half I have worked for the company. They have very little appreciation for their employees. The managers are not approachable. They prey on young individuals with little work experience and lock them into 2 year contracts with insane penalties. They make promises they never come through on and wouldn't even be willing to get a water cooler put into our office."
"EagleCreek Software is a great place to start out as a developer. They offer to relocate and train you at their cost and you can learn valuable skills and experience which will transfer to other developer jobs. However it is not the best place if you are looking for job security, they frequently lay off people due to their mistakes and inability to pickup new projects. The communication is also often poor, you may sit with nothing to do and no projects for months at a time and not hear a word from anyone."
"I worked for Eagle Creek for over two years. Coworkers are very friendly but there is little opportunity for advancement. Projects are frequently mismanaged and what little advancement is available is based on poorly-communicated requirements. Being billable on a project is crucial yet developers have no control whether or not they are billable."
"At first appearances, Eagle Creek seems like a good place to work, but it quickly becomes apparent that they have a lack of senior developers to mentor all of the beginner developers. I had trouble finding anyone with suitable experience to ask for assistance. The sales team was unable to successfully land contracts, so many of the employees were sitting on the bench waiting for work."
"Not a good company to work for."
"Eagle Creek is a great company for starting out. They are not a good company for continuing. I started with the company because of necessity. After 6 months, no one gave me a job offer except for Eagle Creek. For that, I'm grateful. They have an excellent training program paid by the city. However, the company has made multiple bad decisions firing people. It deceives the general population with new project center articles when half of the center is empty at this point."
"I myself thought the company was a gain for me trying to get back into developme"

"More instruction on the core classes that are used in the development of the team. There is a lot of young people working with little or no working experience. I think that overall that the company is a descent place. But the city of Pierre South Dakota gave them the building but they have to employee a certain amount of people for the city to keep them from paying rent. They are below that standard and it is something that needs to be addressed."
