"Company was good in the early years when the team was fresh in 2001. Problem is that the same CFT has been on site for 13yrs and the maintenance has been slacking with no expert QA/oversight. Their attitude now at that site is, "aw it's broke - ship it out anyway, JAX 900DIV ship us another, HOW MUCH MONEY IN SHIPPING COSTS to the NAVY?"

"Not every Dyncorp team is the same. However the company has a hard time escaping the military style of leadership which is a problem for me."

"I find that the company is more of a transition company. There has been quite a few layoffs, firings, and people leaving the company. We have been on a promotion freeze company wide for the last few years. I find employees come to add a year or two of experience on their resume and then move on to the next opportunity."

"I have worked on the Dyncorp Airwing program as a contractor in Afghanistan twice now and, for the most part, have enjoyed it. They gave us plenty of vacation time and gave us extra money to fly home. On the program I was on, they made us about as comfortable as we could be out there in our own rooms with shower, cable TV and internet for all of the rooms.Management did show quite a bit of favoritism towards certain individuals but overall it was still a good place to work."

"DynCorp International has not given any pay for performance raises in 3 years, company morale is affected as a result. We are winding down our presence in Afghanistan, so there are frequent layoffs and reduction in work force occurrences - we are contract driven."

"Prefer not to comment on unethical terminations and unethical hiring practices in addition to inexperienced management who has no regard for their own employees. I am working on the LogCap side of the company overseas and the mentality here is what happens on project stays on project and leadership has instilled fear of retaliation to the employees that do not go with the flow or play along."
