What do you like about working at Choate USA?
"It allows me to be creative and design landscapes, gives me an opportunity to be outdoors and work with clients who typically like my ideas and I like working for a company that came here specifically to be part of the rebuilding process following Hurricane Katrina."
What don't you like about working at Choate USA?
"There's very little value put on a work/life balance and or family. I work at least 6 days per week and when I'm off I still have constant emails and text messages from corporate coming through. There's just no down-time. I can be sitting in my kayak in the middle of the bay and there's always something urgent that can't wait until Monday morning. I think it's a bit disrespectful because we're all very hard workers and everybody needs time to chill."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I always encourage my managers to write it down. Document anything and everything you have concerns or questions about. Whether it has to do with a customer or an issue with an employee, after a long day the details get shady and it's important to have a way to go back and retrieve the day's events. My other suggestion is to remind yourself and your crew to just do it right the first time. Get it over with and out of the way. Nobody likes to do the same thing twice."

"They're leaders in their industry. Much easier to sell that level of job knowledge."

"Be ready to work very hard, shoulder LOTS of responsibility, travel extensively. They will reward your efforts. Its really a matter of personal choice whether or not the ends justifies the means."
What don't you like about working at DeAngelo Brothers?
"Way more travel involved then was described."

"More emphasis on open communication with customers. More focus on balance even if margin goals have to be adjusted."

"Be careful not to go into debt. And stay part time until your Primerica income has passed your full-time income."

"Even if you do Primerica as full-time job. It is very hard to make ends meet. Do not go full time unless you have all of your Lic. and have a team the is doing business and you are making as much or more than you full time job. And do not go in debt. To do anything with PFS. This will snowball on you!"

"Do not let your down-line go into debt just so you can make some money from them, going into debt is never good, never!!"

"At EFFCU the customers as well as fellow employees make up some of the best aspects of this work place. EFFCU also offered outstanding benefits and places a strong emphasis on quality customer service. EFFCU has been the recipient of numerous awards relating to the quality of its workplace."

"Its a great place to work, I would recommend that any candidate seeking employment to be well qualified and open to working in a very flexible and overly relaxed environment with little direction or leadership. The candidate must be a leader with a good sense of self motivation and patience."

"Coming from a larger and more professional corporate background, I found it challenging to adhere to a more relaxed and casual atmosphere. The company lacked adequate training and performance practices, as well as the ability to build strong and effective senior management teams."

"Increase training and performance standards, hold managers more accountable, and adjust the business model based on quality data."
