"The company is slow to move forward in the media business and still holding onto being a 125 year old newspaper company."

"Think forward about the future of the media business and work hard to create a dynamic enviornment. The morale is the building is at an all-time low."

"What I liked about my last job was the fact that there was good on the job training. I was able to really develop my sales and marketing skills, which I know will help me succeed here if I am fortunate enough to be able to join your team"
What don't you like about working at Thomas Cook?
"the lack of structure sometimes allowed some of my teammates to slack off from time to time and I often ended up having to pick up the extra work. I had to constructively approach my manager and let her know what was going on WITHOUT creating any friction between me and my co-workers. In the end, it worked out well, because I was pro-active."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Work-force diversity has important implications. Managers need to be able to recognize employee differences and respond to those differences in ways that ensure effective working relationships"

"I like to serve and entertain. Meeting new guests made it rewarding because people come from all over. I also enjoyed selling, marketing and networking."

"Ask a lot of open ended questions when its your turn to ask them and go in know what you want to take away from the experience should you be offered the job."
What don't you like about working at Holiday Inn?
"The work environment and structure was not efficient, disorganized and unproductive."

"I would set protocols, processes and goals that are specific, consistent and measurable. A set of Standard Operating Procedures and controls should be put in place to enhance monitoring. Training should be ongoing and employees should be evaluated, developed and rewarded. ."
