"Be yourself and be honest. If it's a good fit and it's meant to be those qualitites can get you the job."

"Mid size to smaller. You don't always have the resources you need to do a the job perfectly. This can be a bonus at times though."

"Less micro management. Focus on less things but do those things right.."

"This is a company that is changing everyday and growing Along with that growth is growing pains"

"the marketing strategy needs to change. trying to spread out to thin and too fast. We need to work on building waht we have right now"

"expand the current market presense and build a more unity feeling for the outside branches. Most of us outsiders feel like outsiders!"

"Great place to grow, with technology needed by government and civilian accounts. I was able to establish a consultative approach to high tech sales back in the 80s, before it was the rage. I learned from my mistakes and built a quota achieving sales team."

"I really don't know anything about the company that bought UBI (intermec)"

"Great environment and work ethic where everyone knew their jobs and did their best to perform."

"Early product was good but lack of direction and management dilution spoiled the company . Too many cooks spoil the broth but too many conceited,spoiled brats will burn bridges and kill a company especially in a small industry"

"I worked with event planning and also corporate room sales. I also planned special events at the Hotel and my job was always challenging and interesting. I was able to utilize my strong sale skills along with my creativity which made my job very enjoyable!"

"The CEO is not there anymore, so putting forth a positive attitude and emphasis on customer service would be advantageous."
What don't you like about working at Golden Sails Hotel Golf & Conference Center?
"Unfortunately, the CEO at the time had very little respect for women and it was uncomfortable have to deal with his verbal abuse. Fortunately, all of my co-workers were amazing!"

"Management was great, but at in that time frame the hotel reallyy needed a face lift and the rooms needed to be updated. There were many complaints about the condition of the rooms."

"Be open minded, be flexable, have the ability or desire to do multiple tasks from day to day."

"The seasonal up and downs of the business. There are really slow times and then REALLY busy times. Wish the workload was more even flow."

"Hire more temporary people during the peak season to alleviate the stress levels."
