"Free cable & internet. The $ I made and the contacts I developed. The benefits and the free time."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Eigther work the evening / weekend hours door to door or develope contacts with janitors, building owners or do both. Be ready to get doors slamed and your face ripped off."
What don't you like about working at Comcast?
"Sometimes the marketing strategy seemed to follow the market instead of lead it as with the introduction of the voip service. The top sales management had never been in direct sales. I also didn't like the late evening hours, working till 9 some times ."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Place more respect and value in the direct sales reps. Its easier to retain than to retrain."

"Good company if you are able to have no life. I will work hard but 7 days, 18 hours is a bit much."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get a strategy for keeping good employees and set realistic goals for sales people. Don't take money away from sales people based on technicians' inability to perform their jobs."

"Get off the number games and look who is selling profitable accounts WITH internet and cable TV."

"I would like to experience a typical day at the company by shadowing someone..."

"Residential Sales wasn't challenging enough for me....I thrive in a high paced work/play hard environment which allows me to grow and learn new ways to empower my Sales skill on a daily basis....This position became to mundane....I want a career that allows me to shine and use my inductive and reductive reasoning skills to help resolve the customer's needs and build relationships"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that the management send reps out in twos...It's not safe for young women to appear at a strangers' home during evening hours...I would also suggest cold calling our potential customers and set appointments during bad weather"
