What do you like about working at CarePartners?
"I loved the team effort - no matter what circumstances or obstacles we had to deal with. The management team with Polly and Janesse was the best. I had all of the support and funding to back up any project for the web development - web server teams."

"There really is nothing that I can think of that would constitute an answer here."

"I have not worked at Carepartners is quite a long time, so I am not sure what the management structure and tx/rx of information is like."

"Laid-back, sporadic work with often short deadlines"
What do you like about working at Access Plans?
"Laid back environment with fun co-workers, being able to work remotely, and a smaller development team"

"Know what you're getting into. Ask around and get a feel of what others think about it. It is a small company with poor management."
What don't you like about working at Access Plans?
"Terrible pay, inconsistent responses from management when you can actually get a response, frequently hear about projects a day or two before they need to be done while they've known about it for weeks/months, and a lackadaisical attitude towards employee development"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Figure out what you want sooner. Communicate with employees under you more frequently and more freely. Actually respond when asked questions. Stop taking 2 hour coffee breaks when half a dozen people need to talk to you about a project you assigned them yesterday that needs to be done tomorrow."

"Development was a good job, but lacks work-life balance."
What do you like about working at Neustar?
"I was able to work remotely and the compensation was good."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"No. Our company was acquired by Neustar, so I got in without an interview. I would suggest, for developers, to know Java, Python, Web technologies, and to state that they are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that a job is done properly and in a timely manner."
What don't you like about working at Neustar?
"Not easy to advance into new, interesting roles. Long hours, not much support if you did not know how to complete a particular task. Oftentimes found myself in a shark tank."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take work-life balance into account. Use the Scrum methodology properly, and allow work that could not be completed to be placed back onto a work backlog instead of insisting it be completed in an unreasonable timeframe."

"Health care company that had financial problems while I was there."
What do you like about working at Kalamazoo Public Schools?
"Close to home. Was able to introduce some newer development methodologies they were not using. Also Visual Studio they were still using dBase."

"Financial problems with the company made it an unstable work environment. Navy contract job was better opportunity for me."

"They were brave enough to try new things and innovate."

"The product code base is a total mess. The technology work is 98% maintenance of spaghettI code. The sales and support has some interesting new projects but is mostly supporting the stupid customers who don't understand the product."

"Self-centered atmosphere. The poor sales was always the fault of stupid customers."

"Stop blaming others for the poor sales. If people don't like your product, maybe there's something wrong with the product and not with the people."
