"I love pretty much everything about my job. I feel like the Home Depot is pretty good about allowing as much autonomy to its department supervisors as is possible in a nationwide corporation, where all the stores must necessarily look the same. I love the challenge of battling the constant disorder and daily chaos and coming out on top more often than not and leaving things a bit better at the end of the day than they were when I came in. I love learning new things and taking on new responsibilities that will be helpful later on. On the other hand, it's still a corporation at the end of the day, so it can also be frustrating having to work for the greater good when your regular responsibilities are thrown by the wayside. There often aren't enough people scheduled to provide great customer service, while also handling the day-to-day tasking. It's also annoying when other people don't share the same zeal for their job and have to be micro-managed."
"I rather enjoy my job. It can be fulfilling at times, but also very stressful, due to my companies very poor staffing habits."
"I love the chance to lead people. I love the challenge of taking raw material and creating something of value to the customer. The team is the biggest pleasure. I love winning as a team and rising out of the ashes after a defeat. There are bad days but never a time that I hate what I do."
"Overall the company has been really good to me, however there are areas for improvement. I often get opening MOD but will also be covering my department in sales this can cause issues with customer service at times due to the fact the next associate for department may not be schedule to come in till several hours later, sometimes I have worked a eight hour shift as both."

"Make sure managers on site and store are better staffed, and that orders are shipped faster."
