"Great company to work for. Amazing work environment. The Department of Corrections has an amazing work environment and you get to help people every day. The benefits are good. Vacation time, good medical benefits, and overtime whenever you want it. I really do not have any complaints about the Department of Corrections."

"Low moral, and a lack of support and trust from the higher echelon makes people unmotivated."

"Try to provide a more stable and consistent work environment and approach to the job."

"I would always have a job. People were always getting arrested. Never a shortage of prisnors."

"Be strong, dont make friends with the inmates. Always watch your back and pay attention to details."

"Working with the prisnors. Getting spit on, or yelled at by them daily. Not having the safety or security to back an officer up if something happened."

"Remember where they came from. Once a person received a promotion, its like they forgot how hard it was to work."

"the shift I had which was 3 to 11 pm, the manatory overtime, and more"

"Management to me means doing your best for the company"

"My co workers. I have week ends off. I can take time off just about whenever I need to."

"Start putting money into the stock option as soon as you can"

"The lack of pay raises. Having to deal with other shifts not doing their job. The constant demand of questions and answers."

"I would listen to my officers more. I would be more involved."
