"As long as you were popular, you were safe. If not, you're out. I stayed out of trouble for 15 years and then was demoted due to a principal complaint. I was never told the principal's name or the infraction. I was moved off attorneys and worked for paralegals until I turned 55 and then I was let go."

"Give better rand bigger aises."
