"It was a great place for my first job. Taught me a lot about workforce."

"Many years ago, trying to find a balance between work and school at 14 yrs old."

"Edison International was an awesome place to work. I spent 17 years of my life and would do it again."
What do you like about working at Edison International?
"The people were like family. It was a great place to work and the people were easy to get along with. We were able to be creative and come up with some great ideas."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It seems they use a dimensional interview. What would you do if you saw an employee stealing ect. How would you handle this type of situation ect."
What don't you like about working at Edison International?
"During the time when we were having rolling blackouts and Edison was on the edge of going into bankruptcy I was offered a job a Kaiser. They could of handled that crises a little better. Our stock went from 40.00 a share to $7.00 a share. I lost most of my retirement due to the fact I could not pull it out at the time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep employees where they are best qualified. For green causes let more people telecommute a day or two a week or transfer to a location near where thy live."
What do you like about working at GEICO?
"I loved working with my team in management, and also my unit, coaching, mentoring, special projects, and the pace."
What do you like about working at Mervyns?
"I liked working at Mervyn's because the senior staff was really friendly and you feel at home when you work for them."

"Was a company I had worked for and grown with for a long time. Good co-workers who had been with company for a long time."

"I enjoyed working with the staff, products, vendors & customers, before things became so stressed."

"Don't let IT dictate how the company is run. You supposed to be in charge."

"Being yourself is a big plus. Be honest. experience with PC repair, Networking, and A/V equipment a plus"

"No growth potential, no structure, hard to balance family and work life here. Small company (in this case is not a plus)."

"look into employee needs. Have some bonus structure. Have employees set goals"
